Loretta Mack is an energetic administrator with over ten years of experience in facilitating curriculum programs by using data-driven instruction in grades 4-8. In her most recent role, Mack served as Principal of Smith Middle School in Beaumont, Texas. While there, Mack was responsible for making data-driven decisions which resulted in an increase in student proficiency levels from 30% to 80% in one school year. She is widely recognized for her expertise in building the professional growth of teachers and students, conflict resolution strategies, and analysis of data to impact students’ lives through school leadership.

Mack believes in the power of collaboration with faculty and the community. Because of this, she prioritizes weekly leadership team and staff meetings to cascade information to build teacher capacity, promote positive behavior, and monitor scholar progress. She also facilitates collaboration with essential leaders to develop strategies to improve the school’s rating on the state accountability framework status. Her dedication to public education has fostered a community of lifelong learners.
